First class operation. And he puts fish in the boat... I repeat.. HE PUTS FISH IN THE BOAT.
I 1st booked a trip with him during the covid year. Mind you, I live in California. I ended up cancelling. Fast foward to Dec 2023 he reached out again saying my deposit is still good. So I rebook for March 24. My brother lives in Texas, so I book for 2. Fast forward to March 24th and I had to go to London but my brother takes 2 of his kids on the fishing trip. Now its trip for 3(minus me). My brother goes on the trip and they limit out with 75 cats. But, that's his trip. I see pics and instantly book a trip for May 5th.
On the May 5th. We start out at spot #1 and catch 10 to 12 csts in about hr. APPARENTLY THIS IS SLOW.. we move to spot number 2 and fish on.. fish on.. fish on... now we have about 36 in the boat.. 2 hour plus in. On the spot #3. Fish on fish on fish on. You get the point. All this well under 4 hrs. Closer to 3, This was a fast-paced eater trip. But enjoyed every minute.
I will definitely book in the winter for a combo trip. In-between hunts. Looking forward to fishing with him again.
Best guide on Lake Tawakoni!! Very courteous and respectful of all! Tony's punch bait will catch fish of every type. If you haven't tried it you are missing out!! I have fished with Tony a number of times and always catch the limit. Awesome experience I will always cherish.

Tony is AMAZING!
I actually saw that he had a service advertised on a separate website...but I called him so I could get more details of the fishing charter. He takes a 100 dollar deposit to reserve the date you would like to fish.
Initially, we were supposed to fish around the end of February, but the icy weather made that very difficult. He was courteous about it, and allowed us to push back the date. On our actual trip, he was so persistent. We were able to catch a lot of catfish despite it being cold (50 -53 degrees). Love it and love him!
I give Tony a 20 star rating, we had a great time fishing with him, he kept us on the fish all day we had a blast catching fish and watching Tony do his magic. If you want to go catch fish and have a good time then you better call TONY, cause we think he is the Tawakoni "CATMASTER " and we will be back. THANKS TONY AND GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY .
6/30/21 My parents and I went out with Tony and had a great time! 70 fish in total. I learned a lot about fishing for catfish, and that wonderful concoction known as punch bait! Thank you Tony for a great experience and memory:)
We had a great trip with Tony. He works very hard and puts you on the fish. We caught lots of fish and my son was treated with catching his personal best with a 16.5 lb blue. Thanks for such a great trip Tony! See you again soon.
I have had 3 trips with Tony each one was Amazing We caught a lot of fish each time even in bad weather. all of my trips so far all have been for eaters. The next one will be for a Trophy. Thanks Tony for all the awesome memories.
Went on a two day fish trip with tony he’s a great guide. My dad and I had great time. Tony made sure we caught fish. The end of the day two The Catfish King aka Tony got my 70 year old dad a blue 48 pounder. This was the best fishing trip we’ve ever been on. We will be booking again. Thanks Catfish king.
1st time on Lake Tawakoni. Weather was cold and very windy.Fishing was a little slow but Tony stayed with us until we we had 11 nice ones in the boat.Cant wait to go back!
Thank you, Tony, for making David’s birthday surprise a success. It was a little chilly, a little rainy, but Tony put us where the fish were. We caught mostly blues, a few channel cat and a 25 pounder! I would say our day was a success!
I’ve been a couple of times with Tony always had a great time and caught a bunch of fish will be going several more times in the future Thanks Tony !!!

We had a wonderful trip today on Tawakoni, my first time on the lake. We made several setups, catching nice fish at each one. My grandson had a blast, a 15, 18 and 29 pound blue. Finished with 14 pounds of filleted catfish. We will be going back. Thank you, Tony
Had a great day caught real nice blues from 3lb to 30lb 2 trophy blue was caught by a friend of owers tommy 1 weighing 28lb and other 30lb wife caught her 1st ever 15 lb

Caught 9 trophy fishes ranging from 25-50 lbs.
we also took home over 5 lbs of filet meat. Definitely recommend to anyone and will definitely be back.
Me and my brother have been out with Tony twice this year, if your looking for honest and good fishing guide, then call Tony, you won't be disappointed, he knows lake will find fish for you to catch.

Had the absolutely amazing experience with Tony. I took my two younger kids for their first trip ever on blue cats. He did not disappoint, so many fish and 5 over 20 lbs. our biggest fish was 45lbs and forever changed my sons life !!!
